Congratulations on your admission to the University of Florida. When you arrive at the University of Florida to start your program, you need to come to University of Florida International Center as soon as possible. UFIC is located in 170 Hub, Stadium Road.
Please bring your I-20 or DS-2019, I-94 card, Passport, and Visa with you to the UFIC.
While at the UFIC, ask for a copy of the International Student Handbook, a general overview of what to expect as an international student at the University of Florida.
If you are a freshman student, you must confirm your intention to enroll by submitting a $200 tuition deposit in U.S. currency no later than May 1. This deposit is credited to your account and applied directly to your tuition and fees. For transfer students, graduate students, and professional students, please see the acceptance requirements for your admission.
If you wish to live on campus, you should investigate housing opportunities on campus as soon as possible. On-campus residence space is limited, and you should apply for on-campus housing as soon as you are instructed to do so.
Effective Summer B 2014, all newly admitted or re-admitted students who are enrolled in a degree-seeking program and are attending any UF campus will be required to show proof of adequate health insurance as a condition of enrollment.
One of the greatest advantages of attending UF is the opportunity to learn in an exciting atmosphere of research, education and student life. You will have the chance to participate in an active agenda that can include leadership, athletics, networking, student organizations, community service and social opportunities. We look forward to seeing you on campus!
