Throughout your academic career, you will find faculty members who excel at teaching and research. The university has 54 eminent scholars, nearly 100 Fulbright scholars and numerous other faculty are nationally and internationally recognized in their fields.
With 21 colleges and schools, Florida students can pursue more than 100 undergraduate majors and 200 graduate and professional programs.
Students can also pursue a variety of research projects and can present their research findings at college symposia. The university offers a variety of degrees that combine an undergraduate and a master's degree into a single program.
The university's advising system monitors academic progress each semester to help students complete their degree requirements efficiently, and guarantees that courses needed for graduation will be available each semester. UF's Universal Tracking system enables students to review their academic records, examine other majors, drop and add courses, and review unmet requirements whenever they want to.

UF students have an incredible range of study abroad opportunities for summer, semester or academic year study. There are more than twenty UF-faculty led programs and more than forty exchange programs with universities all over the world.
UF has the world's largest citrus research center, a world-renowned institute for the study of the brain, a public television and radio station, and one of the largest health centers in the Southeast. Recent campus additions include a new honors residential college and new facilities for business, physics, engineering, building construction, health professions, theatre and dance, and veterinary medicine.
The Career Resource Center provides career development opportunities and job placement support to UF graduates. An active alumni network in every state and more than 100 countries regularly contacts the CRC to identify future employees.
