Students seeking to transfer to UF from a Florida community college must apply to a specific college and major.
Many of UF’s colleges accept applicants with a minimum overall 2.0 GPA; however, UF has a number of limited-access degree programs that require a higher GPA.
The earlier you decide on a major, the more likely you are to be on track for that major when you transfer to UF. It is important to realize now that you will NOT be able to transfer to UF until you meet the prerequisite course work and GPA requirements for that major.
In addition, you will also need to
- Attain an AA degree from a Florida public community college
- Complete the CLAST requirement
- Complete the foreign language admission requirement: two sequential years of a foreign language in high school or 8-10 sequential semester-hour credits at the postsecondary level. Your official high school or college transcript or documentation of an equivalent level of proficiency must be included with your application materials.
