Outstanding High School Scholars Program
Sunday - Monday, June 8 and 9, 2008
UF Campus in Gainesville
Special Admission Application for Program Participants
Congratulations on your registration to participate in this year’s Outstanding High School Scholars Program (OHSSP). This program has been designed to introduce high-achieving high school students to the many opportunities available at the University of Florida. Registration is closed; only those who have already registered can attend the 2008 program.
During the OHSSP, you and your family will become acquainted with the numerous academic programs and vast resources that UF and the University Honors Program have to offer. You will also meet students, faculty and staff eager to answer all your questions about the University of Florida.
The two-day Scholars Program begins Sunday, June 8, and concludes at 2 p.m. the following day. Please view the program itinerary, noting that a more detailed schedule will be distributed at registration Sunday afternoon. After the program’s close on Monday, several academic departments will be providing facility tours, offering an opportunity for you to see more labs and classrooms first-hand. Registration for these facility tours will be available the day you check in.
On-campus lodging in Broward Hall is provided for invited students. Because residence hall lodging is limited to students only, a list of hotels and directions to campus is provided for you and your guests.
If you have any questions about the program or if you have any special physical needs, please contact the Office of Outreach and Community Development at 352-392-9960.
