The University Auditorium was completed in 1924 and seats 867 for concerts, convocations and special lectures. The auditorium's hammerbeam ceiling features carvings of a scholar, musician, engineer and an athlete. The spacious interior and elaborate wood carvings of the auditorium create the perfect setting for the Anderson Memorial Pipe Organ, one of the major instruments of its kind in the Southeast.
