The University of Florida welcomes applications from students who will earn 60 credits or more by the term they plan to transfer.
Applications can be submitted up to one year in advance of the entering term, but should be submitted at least six months before the term of entry. You should consult the college/major to which you plan to apply for information specific to your intended major, as each program has unique requirements for admission and deadlines. Learning more about what is expected from a UF major will help you to prepare your academic credentials for transfer to UF.
Transfer admission is highly selective because the number of applications far exceeds the number of spaces available. The best chance for transfer admission is directly from a Florida public community college or state university after receipt of the Associate of Arts degree.
If you have not already visited UF, we urge you to schedule a visit. Our information session and campus tour can be the best way to learn if UF is the right place for you.
