Application Status and Admission Decisions

Once the Application and Application Fee Have Been Received

Using laptop computer Two to four weeks after submitting an application you can check on the status of your application to make sure all the required application materials have been received before the deadline.

An application is not considered complete and no decision can be made until all materials have been received. UF may not notify you of missing materials, so it is important for you to check your application status online.

How to Check Your Application Status

  • Click the yellow Check Status button from any admissions page.
  • Log on to ISIS with your official UF GatorLink username and password. This is not the temporary username and password you created to submit your application to UF.
  • If you have not created a GatorLink account, please do so now. You will need the UFID you received when you submitted your application; it is also on your printed application summary. It can take two days to process your account request, so allow for this time before attempting to log back on to ISIS.
  • The information you receive will identify the status of your application to UF, what, if any, materials are missing and provide instructions on how to proceed. This is also where you can receive information about your admission decision.

Admission Decisions

The Office of Admissions will notify you by mail in February of your admission decision. You can also log on to Check Status to receive your admission decision.

Information about your application status is provided online as a convenience. While every effort is made to be timely and accurate, information conveyed by electronic means is unofficial. An official written notification of admission will be mailed to your permanent address. Please do not act on any information until you have received official notification.
